The good players still have to want to play in the NE
Oh I hope they come and the new investment works out but I won't be getting carried away with it. The same people keep making the same mistakes on here, taking things for granted thinking the empty space on the cheque book is going to say £200m for the season. I've been down that road before false hope, I will believe it when I see it mate. Think it's even harder to stay in the Prem these days but hopefully we get promotion this season and have a good go next season for the Prem.

the soon to be new shareholders..

next season we start as £10m worse off than this season.
why do you constantly come on to threads pretending to be an authority on whatever the thread subject is, then embarrass yourself with your lack of real knowledge? are you a sales rep in real life or summat? Nee offence its just very predictable and very boring, once you're on a thread it effectively kills off any reasonable discussion.

yes they did. but they named it after a buisnes sthat makes money selling to the general public. These guys dont have any such buisness.
pretty much it...they invest money to make money...not for themselves but their fund and fund investors

they are not investing to give money away

Could they not use one of their other investments as a means to and end? I know I'm simplifying but could it for example not be sponsored by Dell?

somebody once accused him of being methven and it fuelled his ego and then his whole posting style changed

People going mental about this but I’m canny cautious.

Everyone sees dells billions and starts celebrating as if it’s ours but it’s his private investment firm not him directly. He’s looking to make a profitable business but I can’t see him whacking a bunch of money in like mansour did with his plaything. It’s an investment firm looking to protect and grow his money.

This sounds like I’m complaining but I’m not. Just trying (probably badly) to make the point that all these people jumping about posting Breaking bad and Shane McMahon gifs might want to reign it in.

Biggest issue for me is it’s another bunch of owners who have no footballing experience and most likely don’t understand football. Even if I’m wrong with the above paragraph and dell threw a billion at it, if they make the same mistakes as short we’ll go nowhere.

The thing that made the Campbell takeover attractive on paper was the inclusion of John park. The people coming in absolutely must make the right footballing appointments.

God supporting this club has made me a pessimist

Just means the purse strings can be opened slightly more than they are at the moment... I don't care how much money they are worth, I want SAFC to be run correctly and sustainably. However, this is great news if true!

micahel dell doesnt own dell..at least not all of it..they probably dot own a majority of anything..the whole reason funds such as these are set up is to allow really rich people have fingers in a lit of pies..not own all of someting..

I totally get that and I used Dell as a simple example. What I meant was could they not move funds from any number of these 'pies' to facilitate a cash injection through sponsorship of some kind to generate investment in their new pie. Now Ijust want a pie.
