Hope your club is run properly and gets out of the division - which I'm sure it eventually will, $$$ or not - but I find the pre-emptive crowing about it rather strange, equivalent to Coventry being bought out and going "What you think of that Villa, lol!"

Fine when it actually happens, but doing it beforehand reminds me of Al Bundy watching the blank tv after Peggy's perfect game.

As fans, can we have a pissing contest about the piss that's happening and not the piss we'll have two years down the line?

Seen a few people making the comparison to Wolves but got a feeling it'll go spectacularly tits up for them within the next few years. Having an agent in such a position of power within the club the way Mendes does creates a massive conflict of interest.

Yeah I'd be seriously worried if we took the wolves route it looks unsustainable

They're already doing better than we have in my lifetime, so it's kind of worked for them already.

I’m not sure which bit I’m replying too but I was agreeing with the fact that they wouldn’t invest just to strip the arse out of the club. These guys I think would want the accolade of turning a miserable bunch of fuckers like us into the happiest fans in the land.
