Takeover Rumours

We are in the lowest position in our history and yet the founder and CEO of one of the most recognisable and innovative companies of the last 20 years is investing in our football club. It’s a huge vein of hope for the future, ofcourse we won’t do a Man City the top 6 are a closed shop no matter what money is ploughed on. The odds on us seeing SAFC lift a major trophy in our lifetimes are shortened though when a man so rich gets involved, we might as well give up if this can’t excite people.

Ding Dang Do to that lad!

You can always say 'wait until we see what happens' can't you. Wait until they get us out of L1, wait to see how they plan for the Championship, wait until we see where we finish in the PL, and on and on and on.

If this all falls apart we're no worse off and we've enjoyed a bit of fun for a change ...
... then it's on to Peterborough ;)
Exactly, I’m off to bed now a happy man. Might wake up to find they’ve pulled out, but it’s made my night.

The lack of achievement by the 2 clubs up here is staggering really

Things always seem to conspire against us, economy crashing when Drumaville were here or England coming for Allardyce for example....but it could also just be poor management of the club.

Under Murray there were times we should have kicked on (keeping Hutch, buying Gudjohnsen or similar to replace Quinn rather than going for a cheap option, etc) and under Short we hoyed money at poor players with worse attitudes.

Hopefully someone gets it right for us and the mags keep blowing it.

Well, if nothing else this thread proves conclusively that many posters on this board would absolutely hate us to do well.

Whether that's because they're mags, trolls or simply love moaning is anyone's guess. Probably a mixture of all three.

I ve only read the last 10 pages or so and can't honestly say I've seen much wrong in the comments

You'd think the laws of probability would eventually come true for us, but as you say not for them lot though. Maybe Keegan was their one hit
