So if SAFC were offering you £5k a week to play in League One but Bordeaux in Ligue 1 offered you £10k a week you'd stay here? Nobody hoodwinked anybody. He probably would have stayed if he didn't get a better offer from Bordeaux. Anyone he his situation would have done the same.

Things change mate - I'd gan to Bordeaux - Maja is a Londoner - had no loyalties here, plus he could play against PSG etc. It will be 5 years before we are ready for Premier.
