There are obviously examples of Americans running clubs properly (the current Liverpool owners and the current Portsmouth owner to a certain extent) however I feel generally they’ve had a negative effect at clubs. I’m thinking of Hicks and Gillette at Liverpool, Ellis Short, Randy Lerner, the current Swansea owners etc...

If they come in and allow Donald and company to run the club on a day to day basis I’d be delighted. I just wonder how long that would be allowed to happen though before egos get in the way.

Tbf there’s no doubt four or five times the amount of bad owners being English, I’ll judge them on what they do just like the current owners.
