Nailed on to be from scratter families who think the world owes them everything. I dare say there'll be relatives or associates who will think they've done nothing wrong.

I remember when the two lads who helped Raoul Moat got sent down for healthy stretches, the uproar from their support on social media was quite frankly staggering.

There's a serious lawless underbelly of brainless oiks right on our doorsteps.

I read on the chronicle live feed that armed police nabbed one at a residential address. I hope the law go after as many as possible, get them on perverting the course of justice if the killers have had help, nail as many for the murder as possible. Send them all down. Nothing will bring him back but send a message that this is completely unacceptable.

This is so needless. RIP the gentleman.
 
It was an address I. Walker. Also heard they searched the church grave yard near central we’re all the winos and spice heads hang out.

I have seen the scratter element off their tits more and more shouting at students / teens on hippy green in the last few months.
 
Been struggling to get my head around this all today. Colleagues in the office are the same.

I’d only walked through the square just an hour before, as I normally do after I’ve finished work to get to the bus station.

Average guy,wrong place wrong time,as you said could have been anyone,very sad for a family somewhere,their lives have been shattered with the loss of a family member just because some kid thinks its great to carry a knife.

I honestly think if you don’t stay on at school college or get a job you should do 2 years national service from 16 to 18 This should last till you’re 25 so if you drop out of school or lose your job before you’re 25 you will still do your 2 years national service.
I know some will still end up in colly for 2 year but I think the numbers of lads and lasses who lose their way at 16-18 will drop drastically. Some may even stay in the forces. It will at least make the school kids think ahead regarding education. And it would also give the education authority a big invisible stick to beat the kids with (fuck up and you’re out).
There is no punishment whatsoever these days. Kids fuck about at school they end up playing footie and abseiling all day at our expense. They turn to crime and the punishment is as soft.
Ohhhhh to the regiment!!!!!

Serious question, why military? Bevin Boys were national Servicemen, while I`m not suggesting we open the pits and sling them down surely there`s other things they can be doing to try and teach them a bit of community value or something

Police have used words like "unprovoked" and "chance encounter" but haven't commented on the break up of a fight despite quite widespread speculation. God knows what's been going on.

such a shame regardless. kids grow into adults and in general snap out of the teenage tearaway routine. so many lives ruined here. hopefully they all get the sentences they deserve.
 
Absolutely horrible. Walk through that way most nights and can’t imagine that happening.

The country as a whole needs to toughen up on shit like this. f***ing devastating for the family.

Because in the military I think at the end of two years you would have a load more life skills, you would be relocated away from your hometown and have a chance of a new start. You give most of these scroats a decent job and they will still fuck it up.

Said it before and I'll say it again but probably be deleted.

All stems from the not being able to smack your kids, kids not being caned in schools and the whole "you can't touch me" attitude from kids.

Biggest fear for me as a kid of the 70s was "wait till your dad gets home"

PC brigade will disagree and say it's about culture etc, it's not it's about discipline.

When I was a kid you never got stabbed for being from the wrong postcode, so don't tell me it's reported more.

Hate to say it but it's about left these little fuckers thinking they're untouchable and gangs are cool

Fuck all to do about how it's reported.
