Good deal - but you have to add on the arrangement fees. I personally went debt free ages ago. I could have kept a low rate mortgage on and gambled my cash on risky investments, but I am a bit 'belt and braces'.As long as you have a reasonable amount of equity you will currently get a rate below 2%. This can also be fixed for 5 years.
As per the tittle, after paying a mortgage for 34 years we are now mortgage free
Ta mate,I am super proud,i came from fuck all, free school dinners and benefits family,i remember those kids at school from decent families whose dads had cars and lived in bought houses, their life always seemed great,i always wanted better for my kids,i have spent a fortune on their educations over the years,we all want a better life for our kids I hope.did you take lessons in being an arsehole or does it com naturally?

Enjoy it mate it's a great feeling, ignore the jealous fuckers on here, mortgage free gives you that little bit freedom..As per the tittle, after paying a mortgage for 34 years we are now mortgage free
I agree about the arrangement fees relative to the size of the loan but with plenty of equity you won't have any difficulty obtaining less than 2%. It's also about managing any risk you take within sensible levels (for yourself) and enjoying a few holidays, of course.Good deal - but you have to add on the arrangement fees. Me too. Saying that I've remortgage a and paid it off 3 timesI always tell my kids work smarter not harder My mortgage is long since paid off.
Study,you don't meet a doc who isn't smart.
You're still young enough.Never had a mortgage and at 38 won't ever have one. Not arsed like but I imagine it's a nice feeling to pay one off.
I am if I got one now but realistically it would be when I'm 42 at the earliest and I'm not keen on starting a mortgage by myself into my 40s.You're still young enough.
I'd rather have £500 a month in my bank than having to pay £500 a month back to the bankGiven that interest rates are buttons, I see little point in not having a mortgage.

Tittle hahaha
But based upon those figures you'd have over £100,000 at your disposal to do with as you wish assuming an 'interest only' mortgage.I'd rather have £500 a month in my bank than having to pay £500 a month back to the bank
