I don't think the fans should need reassuring but even if they did is a pre game press conference for the league cup the place to do it?

James Fowler did press conferences for the lesser cup games when the going was relatively good last season so this policy Ross obviously has is nothing to do with swerving anything.

He did his post match interview and he’ll be doing the press conference on Thursday for the Portsmouth game.
