The Edge

Really really good. Massively enjoyed it.

Only episode 1 is out - they’re bringing one out each Ashes test- it’s quite good.

You can download them all on demand, we watched the lot last night. You have to put up with Piers Morgan talking about things with a false authority given he wasn’t involved in any of the incidents or decisions around said incidents. It’s good overall though, what an amazing batsman and also a colossal bell end.

Right, I know what I’m doing for the next few hours.

Watched this tonight and thought it was excellent. Poor Trott though - he should never have gone on that Aussie tour.

Genuinely gutted for him at the end, started bubbling a bit myself - the way he described it you could see how much joy he got from being out there with his teammates.

Felt a bit sorry for Flower too, clear from his life experiences at home that he hasn’t had it easy but hopefully like he said later on that he’s improved his man management.

Same

I’m a sensitive soul but that did get me

That’s my main anger with kp, maybe I let it boil over but that was a great England side, of great mates, you can’t achieve that success without that, and he made out it was toxic, I’ll never forgive him for it.

Just watched this. Absolutey brilliant.

Love Flower
Oddly enough I watched it last night too, really enjoyed it. I didn't realise how many of the players and coaches suffered so much away from the game. I've always known it's an issue particularly with England playing most of the year, I just didn't realise so many were affected by it.

I find it hard to blame Pietersen because he obviously felt that was the case, he didn't just decide to blow up the team. It's a fine line between what one person sees as banter and another sees as incessant sniping and maybe things were just allowed to build for too long that could have been nipped in the bud. Maybe don't want to reopen this for the 567th time so I'll leave it there

As another poster said, I really feel for Trott, that bit about him firing up the bouncers on the bowling machine was pretty intense. And he looked absolutely crushed when he was talking about what he would miss about the game. I hope he's got some good people around him.

Can’t agree marra

Unforgivable the way he’s dragged some of our best ever players through the mud

I'm not excusing everything he did by any means, I don't really have much sympathy for him but at the same time I can't hammer him for what happened.

I've had nothing to do with Majestic Wine Warehouse since I saw that arrogant, entitled, patronising arsehole of an owner on Death of a Gentleman, becoming increasingly angry at his and the FTECB's greed being exposed.

Absolutely fantastic documentary. You see these stars stride out to the middle and expect them to perform every day when really we don't see them going through the same pressures we all do in day to day lives. We expect them to be above that with their profile and supossed better life
