Honeyman to Hull?

This, he's no bigger than Power and only marginally taller than McGeoch.

We were having breakfast in the Hilton before the Doncaster game, and Power and Wyke came in and sat on the table next to us. Max is by no means a titch, and there's a lot of muscle there.

The captaincy really didn’t help. He would have been a decent squad player but his failure to be the leader we needed when things started to go badly was his downfall. Were worse players than him but they were taken out the firing line, Honeyman didn’t have that luxury and didn’t quite have the ability to step up when needed.

As already posted, we signed Jason Steele from a lower league even though the fans forum said he was shite.
Then Brighton signed him from us even though our forum said he was shite.
Scouts ignoring the fans and raising a keeper from League one to the Prem!

Conclusion - There are some right dodgy scouts stealing a living.
I think it's obvious that some scouts base decisions off highlights, there have been loads of deals over the years that have baffled fans, we've been guilty plenty of times. Gardner was sold to us as a top premier league midfielder who can bang the goals in, it is only when you see him play you realise he is actually an awful footballer.

It isn't difficult to see how someone who hasn't watched Honeyman could rate him; he plays regularly for us, became captain and can time a late run into the box to score the odd good goal. It is only from watching him play 90mins that you realise he can't play in any position, his passing is abysmal and he'll always be disposed because he is too weak.

I'm just glad for once we aren't the team being taken for mugs.
