Since the play offs...

Why would you settle for the play offs last season when we had the squad we did? You really think we have improved enough over the summer to get close to promotion when you see who the likes of players Peterborough have signed?

Because, on paper, the squad we had the previous year was far too good to get relegated from the championship and it wasn't greatly different apart from a few players untested at this level.
We had a new manager and totally new regime.
Do I think we've improved?
I actually do, because I think that our strikers will be fit for the first game and that will make a difference. The return of a fit Watmore? Well, who knows but he looked canny on Saturday.
Willis, McGlauchlin? Better than what we have.
We could do with a couple more in and probably a couple of good loans, (it's been a while), but yeah, by the time the season starts I think we'll be far better than last year.

This place has been nothing but a cesspit of twist and moaning. Yes we failed last season in not getting promotion, but let's face it, it was close. If you had asked me this time last year, play offs would have been the best I would have expected after the years that preceded.

I think in the first few pre season games we have done ...ok. yesterday playing a team from the Portuguese top flight and really were the better team for the majority. Take some positives man. Let's just see where we are after a few games eh?

Rant owa
Its been fine for me. Barely been on.

deluded, we will be lucky to finish in the top 6, look at the signings by Portsmouth, Peterborugh, Ipswich.

can't be arsed with idiots.. 1st season.. I 've been going to see the lads for longer than probably you have been born..

I would be seriously surprised if that's true.

But regardless of that, you've seriously embarrassed yourself if you think they are our worst strikers of all time.

have you seen who they have signed?
Yes, Norwood has potential. But the rest are still a bit meh. Might well end up being great signings. But then maybe not. Another massive turnaround at posh. Losing Clarke is a blow to pompy. Too early to say because they have a signed a few that they will work. imo anyway

If you think there signings are abit meh, you should think ours are horrendous

what few we have made are a bit meh n all tbh. Willis could be good one. But again, our signings along with anyone else's. Its too early to judge. Certainly they seem to be having a go. But as we well know, a lot of signings is not always successful. Jury is out

In my opinion we will struggle to make the top 6.

Since the play offs we have played 3, won 1, lost one and drew one. That’s not promotion form. Ross Out
