The ‘football’ where they’re the only team who compete for the tag ‘World Champions’?

I’m a fan actually, of American Football, but it’s cringeworhty as fuck that they christen the Super Bowl winners as ‘World Champions’.

If a human can be named miss universe without alien competition then surely Americans can be world champions of a sport only played in America.

Shurrup man! Sunderland were world champions in 1895 by beating Hearts in the world final. I'm not giving that one up.
