As a quick off the cuff analogy to explain the concept to the lad asking the question, it worked. Which is all that matters at the end of the day. You don't get any extra points for goals from outside the box so as there is obviously no direct comparison, mine is still valid. Now go fuck off again.
 
Extraordinary stuff. There can not have been a game of cricket better than that ever. World Cup final as well. Unbelievable.

England become the first country to win the World Cup in football, cricket and rugby.

I hope with the t20 starting next week that this gives a massive boost to the game in this country.

Enjoyed the tournament immensely and isn’t it great to say that finally England are the cricketing champions of the world.

yep because we had more attacking intent. The kiwis ducked out of the last ball. We didn't. If they don't duck out of the last ball of their innings with nothing riding on it they could have stolen the run that would win them the game.
