i disagree with the rules that allowed archer to represent us, but he has done and has done himself proud.

If you live in england, you are english for me always have seen it that way, if they have lived here, and married here and had kids here, they are dual nationality they are english/british, all of our blood lines come from all around the world, everyone of us if we go back far enough, he and archer, are englishmen today, and forever more:cool:

don't think shots on target can be compared to boundaries. It's more like awarding the win to the team who scored most goals from outside the penalty area.
 
Just had a bit to reflect on what we've all just witnessed.

I stand by what I said earlier, that was the greatest sporting event I've ever seen. It had absolutely everything, brilliant cricket, a team digging in and fighting back, crucial mistakes, bizarre (never to be repeated) incidents, and a match that was tied not once but twice.

Add to that the personal stories. The redemption of Big Ben, Andrew Strauss, even things like sticking with Adil Rashid for the years he was being carted everywhere.

Brilliant. just brilliant.

I’m rewatching the end again already. What a spectacle. One of my favourite sporting moments ever.

Shows attacking intent and is much more realistic an outcome to have shots on target than a number of goals scored from outside the area. Now fuck off, there's a good lad.
