Top sporting days not involving football?

F1 was great, then watched the 2nd half of the tennis, which was great. Then turned over to the Cricket, where I saw a tie breaker for the first time ever, which was great.

Great day!

The F1 feels like about a fortnight ago! Class day indeed!

I must admit I'm not up on cricket but how did NZ not win the cricket when they bowled us out. I know it was the same score but they lost fewer wickets. Id assumed if you ended on the same score number of wickets lost would count next ????

Apparently we won coz we scored more boundaries, exciting match mind

Wimbledon, BBC1 - peak 9.6m at 7.05pm, average 6m
Cricket World Cup final, C4 - peak 4.5m at 7.25pm, average 2.4m (C4 morning coverage - peak 2.1m, average 1.2m)
British Grand Prix, C4 - peak 2.5m at 3:30pm, average 1.8m

Shame they were all scheduled at the same time as they no doubt missed out on views, particularly F1 judging by those. Not 100% accurate because the Cricket was also on Sky, as was the F1 and Wimbledon was also live on Eurosport (which has full coverage of 2 of the 3 slams, so considered a bit of a tennis channel), and also people watching in clubs and pubs. All could have had more if they were spaced out.
