Wouldn’t be too worried if I was them. There are other ways of making scores than hitting it big. Williamson’s shown be can score massive in his own method, and Nichols is a good player despite the over the top criticism on here. 270 in a World Cup final is a very hard chase regardless of the conditions.

I would have taken 270 at 10.45. Anything less than 300 is very gettable with our batting line up. Over 300 and the pressure is on. I still hope to keep these under 250.

I’d have about 280 as par on this, given the occasion. So I’d have taken 270 but won’t be an easy chase and very lose able also
