Honeyman

He’s another one - like Catts - who was often used wrongly by Ross last season. I still think there’s something he can give if used correctly. However I also wouldn’t be that bothered if a champ club wants to give us a decent fee for him.
Bang on but going off JRs comments and the fact we're in for Dobson i think the penny has finally dropped and we're going to set up the right way next season. Hopefully tonight will give us a positive indication as to how we're going to set up.

Just a thought for some fans...

Whilst I don't agree with him retaining the captaincy and he clearly has his limitations etc... It IS possible for a 24 year old to IMPROVE. It seems the entire fanbase has decided Honeyman is exactly this good and that is the end of it.

The decision is made. Time to get behind the lad. Last seasons play off final defeat could be the making of the lad.
He's 25 in September, and he's nee better now than when we first saw him (which wasn't long after he came from the Gateshead 'cos they realised he was nee good anarl.

How on earth a terrible performance in a terrible game which ended in a terrible result could be the making of the lad I do not know. Not unless it somehow dawned on him that football's not the career for him and he's decided to take up a career in haberdashery.

Yeah it'll give us an indication. Don’t want to read too much into it either way but fingers crossed.

Dont understand your last paragraph

I'm not interested in whether he's captain or not, it's the fact that he's a terrible footballer and plays week in week out that does my tits in.
Perhaps you're judging him on the mistaken assumption that we are still a premier league club. I would wager that most league one clubs would be delighted to have a Honeyman in their side. And for the record there are probably another fifteen in our ranks who are nowhere near premier standard.
