Have a like, as nicely put.
Grammar apart.

Very much seems the case, ulterior motives at work?
I’m the first to jump on a good conspiracy theory like but haway man a few are sounding like tin foil hat wearers. Could it not just be things just arnt as rosey as sd has portrayed them to be?.

There were a few groups wanting the club off Ellis, including local people.
A few individuals were openly critical of the decision Ellis came to iirc?

What's the point in the owners doing that? The truth would come out eventually, and the reaction would be far more severe than either saying nothing or admitting there were problems. The worst of all worlds in being caught in a lie. We certainly won't have been told everything; it's not realistic to expect that. But telling the fanbase out and out untruths is about as dumb as it gets.

I am concerned about the number of recent negative stories, but not for the reasons some are. This is starting to look like a concerted effort to create a rift between the owners and the supporters. Why now, and who's pulling the strings? Because at the moment, it seems to be working.

I think we have had an issue for a while with stories doing the rounds that turn out to be absolute rubbish with no substance especially in the last few years of ownership under Short but I am also concerned they seem to have been increasingly recently.

I can’t fathom why anyone would run with the narrative that we are financially struggling due to our failure to gain promotion unless they had other motives.

Stewart and Charlie don’t seem to be able to win. Any move they make is twisted to make them look bad. Personally I think it’s the right time to part ways with Cattermole but even that is causing people to speculate that we are struggling financially

why? can we not just hire him now, he hasnt got a job?
but why do you assume he would be good at the job of DOF? he hasnt worked in that role a day in his life.

We could just hire him, that would be ideal however it isn't in SD's planning.

I assume for the same reason we have spoken of previously, at great length as always.

What's the point in investment without bringing someone brighter in? We don't need money for this decision, we are one of the healthiest football clubs financially in England.

And you're sure the stuff you're getting is factual? You're putting a lot of trust in God knows how many steps between your source and where the information originated. You may think your source is reasonable, but if he's being spun a load of bull then so are you. Just because what you've been told suits a particular narrative doesn't make it complete or factual. The first question you should be asking is who is passing me this stuff, and why do they want whatever it is out there. If your source isn't the originator, then it's no different to a rumour that Jan Koller has been sighted at Seaham Hall.

Even if he's being fed bullshit that suits a particular narrative?

As you well know, that up to him to tell the forum within his own time, he's always been a good poster as far as i can see.

it could..but gievn that accounts are published and audited..it would be stupid. He said in jan we had loads of money-and he backed it up by spending huge money on a plyer. I judge actions not words.

how do you know its not in SDs thinking?
and since SD isnt leaving-why would new investment change his thinking? he will be here either way.

where is @Tonton Zola Moukoko when you need him?

Went off in a huff when SD started getting criticised I think. Wouldnt like it on here now as it has gone up a notch.

The way in which he spoke of him on the podcast. I don't understand the other part?

If that's referring to me attending the meeting it's overegging the pudding. I'm not sure I'd actually want to see the internal accounts; not because I'm scared of what I might find, but the related NDA (which would be almost mandatory) would prevent me saying very much about what I did find.

Apologies I didn’t mean to be flippant, it was more the offer for people to view them. You seriously can’t say Live in a podcast that finances are the best for years and they should turn a potential profit only for every other Tom dick and harry so scream we are skint and in our bones.
Someone’s lying big time and I would love to find out who

Ulterior motives or not, a few people seem to be putting a lot of negative stories around and it's having an impact...at least on here.

Might be time for SD to go back on RR? I'm sure he's aware of the current panic.

Why wouldn’t that apply to any player in the last year?

Because we won't have spent years developing them on for someone else to benefit.

As I see it the rule is meant to make sure players don't end up with just a year left and no option for the club to extend. In an ideal world no one would get frozen out as theyd all sign up.

But you will already have spent the years regardless of whether you play them or not!
