People tend to think that a takeover means acquiring 100% of the shares, although with private companies that is usually the case. The real number, as you obviously know, is 50%+1.

Only if there are only 100 shares. If, say, there are 100,000 shares, then 50%+1 is 50,001.

We are the biggest club in league one and we are struggling to get out. We are keeping faith with a manager who isn't good enough.
