That was because of the Sunderland/Newcastle rivalry, what's been said hoping your owners helicopter crashes is in extremely bad taste taking into account what happened at Leicester. There's a massive difference to be fair.

Some Newcastle fans want Ashley dead because of the NUFC fans/Ashley rivarly. But that's not ok.
