So cheating is okay?
Not saying that at all

This has arisen due to England being incompetent. Beat Pakistan and Sri Lanka, this game would not have mattered one iota

Now it’s up to England to prove their status as number one team, coming into the tournament

.

It was nothing compared to him diving over the ball in the last over

A man at 4 an over only bowling 8 of his 10.....really hope he explains this.

So cheating shouldn't affect sports if the other teams play better?

Another good game at lords in progress

NZ are 28 for 0 off 7, needing 244 in total to win

You are missing my point. England’s inability to beat Pakistan and Sri Lanka, allowed for this instance to occur.

England have only themselves to blame if we fail to get to the semis.

If they were really throwing the game Afghanistan, they put up a damn fine performance to nearly blow a fix.

First time they’ve batted fifty overs in the competition

Doesn't sit well with me what the 'captain' did, not at all
Nor me....I’m trying to watch a ‘proper’ cricket match between NZ and Aus and I am still sitting here totally stunned at what I’ve just seen.

Nobody is saying that Afghanistan threw the game....that accusation lies squarely at Gulbadin’s door and nowhere else.

Could do with aus chucking this so the NZ game v England is irrelevant to them

That’s all opinion. It was hardly an impossible task at that stage to be fair. As captain he made a wrong decision. Went the other way and he is a god in Afghanistan.

Still boils down to England blowing their chances , however they have two chances to rectify it

It’s not stupid. It’s your opinion. Try and be rational

Disregarding England’s defeats, which opened the door for this to happen
