Ross picking shite like Power instead of McGeouch was probably what cost us I thought. McGeouch and Cattermole was (briefly) our best central midfield partnership.

Power never recovered following his SOs. He ran the game at Gillingham. Good player.

We have to be more adventurous and can't afford two holding midfielders ie Cattermole and Leadbitter who are too slow and aren't mobile enough , think Mcgeogh could player anchor with two box to box midfielders alongside him , hard to dispense with good loyal servants but as I have said on previous posts WE MUST make hard decisions and they have to be made . We can't afford to ignore the obvious their is no room for sentiment .
