Bruce is good at building sides it's getting them to play he struggles with

Villas side is pretty much side Bruce built except Dean Smith is a better manager

The way I see it, he tried to buy success at first, but it didn't work. Then the fans got on his back, so he basically put in minimal investment and let the club run as a business. For all the stick he gets (more for his business style), he is one of the easier to work for chairmen in the league as all he wants is survival.

If Bruce built the side I don't see how Smith is a better manager. Its not like Bruce hasn't got promoted from the Championship before.

With Bruce they were midtable

With Smith they won something like 10 out of 15

Ones a premier League manager
Ones a championship one

More to management than player recruitment

Mc coists a bell end these days...he didnt bother watching us v charlton but was at the villa/derby game the previous day,enough said
