No-one had an issue when he was called in over Denley as cover. It's only become an issue because Roy is injured.

Don't disagree mate. His innings against Surrey on the 2017 ODC final is the best white ball innings I've ever seen. He's a match winner.

Might as well open with a bowler. Even Archer and Wood outscored Vince today and against Sri Lanka. Then have the extra bowling option and tell them to slog at the start and get us a flyer. Absolutely disgraceful selection Vince
