No it doesn't, its just a phrase used in tabloid newspapers

its bullshit like

going round in circles anyway just leave it

So how would you describe England's manifest inability to translate their usual ability and talent into competitions, when the pressure is on?

It's a psychological thing, surely?

It is prepared to ICC regulations. They didn’t hand them over last night. The pitch will have been inspected for weeks beforehand.

Yeah, but there's only so much a staff can do, given the natural weather and conditions. In Abu Dhabi, you're not going to get a bouncing fast track; in Perth, you won't get a flat deck, ICC or no ICC.

The statistics say quarterly the opposite.

They have played very well and deserve to win, the fact England didn’t put 300 on first is a huge factor.

In this type of game they are very effective, as are most teams.
The stats say the Aussies battered us in a huge world cup match. They've been far superior with the bat, ball, and in the field.

It isn’t an English prepared wicket though. That is the bottom line.

It isn’t the reason England are losing today, it is, like all the rest, ICC prepared and the final will be a run fest.

They even arranged the fixtures and ensured they got the most tickets in the “ballots”

Bet we are outnumbered 8 to 1 on Sunday
I may of mentioned this previously but I applied for two of the three games at CLS (I'm on holiday for Sri Lanka v South Africa) at the *cricket family* ballot and got none, how does that work and what is the point of *cricket family* ballot?

Lord's has never been a run-fest. If England need specially curated, 400 run decks to win, then shame on them.

It's a fair pitch, and the ICC aren't sending in groundsmen to every venue.

I don't think the final will be a run fest, but we will see.
