Ive got it on good info that they want Dyche.
I have a feeling that's who will get it. The thing is though Dyche is more the type you would want to build something long term. The fans will want the new manager to be an instant hit. The first sign of a mistake and they will be on his back simply because he isn't Rafa.

The whole reason why the limerick thread should have been kept separate it would be a cracking read every time we are playing shite next season;)
There is a Scottish Jack Ross,
Who somehow is Sunderland boss,
If we don’t win League One
Then Ross will be gone,
Fuck knows where we go from there.

The wouldn't give him that long - they'd be on his back from day 1 because he's Dyche - "Out of his depth", "Not a big club manager", etc.

Wa wun the Championship, yer knaa. Only spent 80 million pund deein it anaal.
and another £112 million in wages so it cost them nearly £200m to get out the division ;)

Yet, during the Championship-winning season of 2016/17, Newcastle declared a wage bill of £112.2m - £18.6m more than the subsequent season - which remains the the highest ever recorded in the second tier of English football.

The Mags are talking about net spend etc yet it's clear some are completely disregarding wages as they also have a big affect on what clubs can spend and it seems the Mags went daft!

Plenty to laugh at to keep you amused!
Aye im doing fine mate. Hope youre the same. I always look on the bright side marra, i try to see the humorous aspect in everything life hoys up. If it wasnt Newcastle it would be summat else.
They are a proper mine of material with this raffa malarkey mind.

Unless it's Jose they will have made their minds up whoever comes in isn't good enough before a ball is even kicked. Dyche would suit how Ashley runs the club imo. Spends about £22 million in a summer, does well in the domestic market, has sold players for profit and has finished safe of relegation for a few years. It's weather or not Ashley would pay compensation. Dyche has 2 seasons left on his contract and Ashley valued Pardew at £3 million. My guess is the mags would give Dyche the same treatment as Alardyce got.

Louise Taylor in the Guardian today, bemoaning how FSW had the “Premier League’s weakest squad”. Just so much f***ing bullshit.

You couldn't make this shit up, yet they do about a game from over 5 years ago!

Indeed, Benítez had long had a soft spot for what would become his adopted home on Gallowgate. During an interlude as Chelsea manager, he stood in that aforementioned St James’ corridor following a defeat inflicted by Alan Pardew’s then side and, as he debriefed reporters, there was a definite sense that he rather envied Pardew’s job.
