Moeen really started something there. Sri Lanka used that pitch well, where we used it very badly, when in bat.

He should be leaving it But woakes,archer and Ali went when they didn’t have to. Ali is the stupidest cricketer we have. Need 5.5 an over so hits a 6. Not clever enough to knock a 1 has to be a smart arse and throws the game back to Sri Lanka

I really dont get the 'complacent' argument. It implies the crack in the dressing room beforehand batting was job done already, game over etc. We just batted poorly at the end of the day against a team who bowled well. Tough to take but it happens and thankfully we ate still very much in the tournament

But out of all the players he seems to have absolutely no accountability

I am all for freedom to play your way etc, but sometimes, win the game, its his 100th cap, just a total lack of responsibility

I hope the captain is telling him that in the dressing room right now too

He is the most frustrating cricketer I can remember, so much talent, not enough application

England are currently the number one team in the world were favourites for this tournament and over the last 3 years have clearly been the best team in the world ,as in any sport upsets happen.

Man City getting beat of the mags and Palace two games in a row, doesn’t change the fact they were the best team in the league!

I agree partly

But one of the reasons we have done so well is with the likes of Roy etc playing shots. You’ve said the same as well
