You have to take your chances when they come in international sport

But to be fair that’s his 2nd innings in like a month or someit?

It’s one of the strange things about cricket being on squad can actually hurt your long term chances if you’re never playing any cricket

It’s why denly not getting picked actually will help his ashes chances as he’s playing cricket

Proven numerous times he isnt good enough for international cricket, both in terms of ODI and test match.

Fairly bizarre, hes a very good batsman. Not the best in this side by any means but he is a very good player.

The only weakness really for me is the lack of depth batting wise with Hales out of the picture. The top 6 are all fantastic but there is a monumental gap between them and the likes of Vince and Denly.

Reverting back to Denly and Vince was never a good idea. They should now be looking to blood some younger talent like Kohler-Cadmore and Duckett into the ODI side. Billings is possibly worth one last chance as he's never really had a run in a settled position.

Dobell seemed to think Salt might get a run after WC

Although think there is going to be more T20 games from now on because of the WC for that.
 
Its difficult in a way, think media gets used to how good this side is, so anyone coming in is expected to be really agressive and get mountains of runs

There is a reason no other team in the world plays our style, its bloodyhard

This team will barely change like, but players will be rested etc

Parkinson from Lancashire is the one I really rate, think he could come in for Rashid for a series or someit to see

I think Kohler-Cadmore is a good shout as opening back-up for Roy and Hales should Hales come back into the side. I don't think this team needs much work though, just some young blood to give more depth.

I hope they bring Hales back in mix for T20 world cup myself, punishment enough this surely
