Do you have an album you rate very highly in your collection, but if you told anyone what is was it is unlikely they’ll recognise it

Obviously these aren’t unknowns but they never had a record reach the Top 20

'Private Eyes' by Tommy Bolin. This was his second solo album and he died a rock'n'roll death a few months later. Tommy also played guitar with The James Gang, Billy Cobham and Deep Purple. Great songwriter too.

Hyenas in The Desert - Die Laughing

Long Island, NY based Hip Hop group. Became the first group to release material on Chuck D's imprint SLAM Jamz. Despite receiving good reviews for their debut EP "Die Laughing" (HHC 5/5, Rolling Stone 4/5) a full length LP never surfaced.
