Stokes gets so much stick over averages n stuff, its so irrelevant to him

Was a test match in Sri Lanka where his stats were nout to shout out about, but he bowled in 90mph on a flat pitch to get couple of wickets, did an ureal run out and took an amazing slip catch

When he is fit he always plays and that is why, capable of anything with bat, ball and field.

Botham averaged 32 with the bat and 28 with the ball, good but not fantastic. Sometimes it's more important when you do it and how you do it. Stokes falls into the latter category, as did Botham.

He is a match winner. Fantastic player

Yeah its true, and it goes missing because people don't get to sit and watcj test matches all day, which is obvious as people work

some sessions its going nowhere and he will do something like that

heis also capabable of scoring the quickest 200 in test cricket history and can swing the ball both ways

remarkable player, still think few years before he will settle into a role

Always thought he'd take the new ball off Jimmy in England

He is a better keeper. But you just want him to be mentally fresh for opening. But aye, on a day like today where he's done nothing - why not swap him in?

I dont think its an issue like being fresh, they all do it like, keeper opening batting is fairly standard in ODI

To be fair to England they split it up between ODIs and Tests to keep them fresh round the year

Jos just slipped this year

Possibly could be, maybe Curran as his batting is probably as strong as Moeens at least at min.

Moeen has hit a century in less than 40 balls. To have that coming in at seven is not something that should be passed up.

England don't need another seamer either. We've already got five when you include Stokes.

That crowd noise is mint when he takes the catch, one of the best I've heard

Aye Mo has to be in the side

Just frustrates me, he has so much more talent than he shows, in all formats.

Still love the bloke
