The orange skinned 6% salmon pants superman doesn't half talk alot of cackbabble. He's basically just said Sunderland fans aren't good enough!!!
I'll repeat.. A total failure has just insinuated its the fans' fault!

I tell you who's not good enough.. you sir. You made a bet which hasn't come off and now your are blaming the fans in your roundabout nancy pancy sort of way.

A tattered and scarred reputation..
Heard he also said you smell

I bet you vote Labour.

Wish I didn’t bother next season now, true colours are starting to show.

The football has been dire for months, the manager is completely out of his depth and now the fans are getting slagged off because we took 36k to Wembley.

Cost me £400 this weekend to see us lose with the last kick, same for most fans as well.

Beggars belief.

Don't need to search the internet and quote
The bloke needs to fuck off. Absolutely out of touch with Sunderland supporters
Few pints and thinks he is class. He is the parasite
Well don't misquote him.
Slag him off for somethjng hes actually done, but slagging him off for something he's not is ridiculous.

Absolute crap.
The ones who party are, imo, the ones who sing.
The 4k at charlton earlier this season didn't party at TS and without doubt is vocally the worst away crowd I have been in
We didn't know what to cheer about, between Jack's playing style, Reece James scoring an own goal and losing two points we were spoilt for choice.

The support was poor chanting wise, but that is because we could all see what was going to happen after 10 minutes. If I was an opposition manager viewing our season, I would gift us a goal early on as well. The team gave us jack shit to wake us from our hangovers, we should stop invading Trafalgar Square the night before and save it for the night after

We "celebrate" the night before because experience tells us there will be fuck all to celebrate after the match.

We were one nil up in 30 seconds and still couldn't muster any enthusiasm.
That's not the point though. I'm saying that the pissed folk at TS will have been the more vocal at Wembley.

Is this donkey having a laugh? We were quiet as had to watch that f***ing boring, dull and. negative shite. What the hell was there to get excited about?

I’ve had enough of him now, I hope he fucks off and doesn’t come back. What a wanker.

I think he's targeting those who just sacked the game off for whatever reason, he just executes it incorrectly.

As per usual the fanny pads among our support are up in arms when it's not even those (including myself) who were at the game he's having a pop at mainly - granted he's said those of us who were there were quiet but he's absolutely spot on. We've done the same thing at Wembley twice, drank the smoke dry the night before and then been completely shagged at the match.

Couldn't give a fuck if Pompey and Charlton had 30 miles or 300 miles to travel, its bang on the money.

There were hardly that many states in Trafalgar, and it all got quiet by midnight at the latest. Very few would be absolutely wrecked and unable to sing the next day having had 8 hours sleep, a big breakfast and plenty time to get more drink in them before kick off. For the checkatrade I came down on the day, getting up about 4:30 and drinking all the way down, I was a hell of a lot more tired then than I was this time having had quite a lot throughout the day but having plenty time to sleep and a decent lie in the next morning. It really wasn't the hard drinking non stop party many seem to think it was

No, he does think we are a bigger club than Charlton. Because we are, in his words, ‘the biggest club to ever have played in this division’.

We’re only not the biggest club in the division when the context is some lad saying we shouldn’t be League one as a club of our size. Because obviously that’s different. Clear enough IMO
It’s not like and not what he said. He said that it’s difficult to argue that on size of club we should go up and Charlton should stay down.
It isn’t difficult to argue that at all, it’s very easy. It’s difficult to argue we should go up because they are better than us.

Spot on GOM, however my main worry is in the quality of our recruitment this summer, look at the January window for example.

we had a cracking january window imo. brought in one of the best strikers at this level, brought a lad who loves the club and was playing a league higher up. brought a highly rated cb in who early on looked the best cb at the club and even chipped in a few goals. a promising winger ross knew from his previous club and a highly rated striker who had been getting on the bench of a strong premiership team in tottenham.

the fact they all played shite, our defense got progressively worse after improving from a shakey start, the winger ross knew so well was crap and sterling barely played is more down to the manager and the players than the recruitment itself. IMO

This.

I tried this time to break the jinx by travelling down on the morning though .....bugger

Best part of the weekend by an absolute country mile. It pisses me off massively that it's as plain as the nose on your face what our fans respond to yet our cowardly manager sends a team out at the national stadium to play like that. I'm taking no responsibility for the defeat....i did everything humanly possible I could do.

I have slagged him off plenty , didn't need to just start today.
Just glad people are seeing him for what he is. A snide who wants your every last penny

The pub fans, but, more particularly, the landlords of those pubs. The word was never applied to those who go to matches.

No it wasn’t. But it was levelled at supporters who watch in pubs. As if the cost of a couple of pints is the same as a day at the match. If someone watches a game on a stream in their local club and has four pints, they’ll spend a tenner or so. It would cost double that to get a match ticket before you even factor in getting there. And not everyone can afford that. And he was particularly singling out the illegal streams; I’d imagine he’d been happy for people to watch on a TV in a pub on Sky as the club make money from that. Labelling people parasites is bang out of order in most contexts, particularly when you’re a fairly wealthy and privileged individual, but that was especially crass.

And nope. Never watched a Sunderland home match in a pub.
