Because FFP is really a thing? Really stopped PSG “earning” £650m last FY despite a Ligue 1 TV deal worth just 7 figures....

Get your head out of the sand, FFP doesn’t exist.
‘Doesn’t exist’ for the established big clubs already dining at the top table when it was introduced. But really the whole reason for its introduction was to stop anyone else getting a seat there with them so for everyone else I very much expect that it does exist.

Probably cost less for the club than it would for his own name putting on the back of a Newcastle United shirt in one of Ashley’s shops. 29 f***ing letters, that’s more than what a Geordie can count to isn’t it.

Been here before in the mid 90’s when they were breaking records in the transfer market and “everybody's second team” while we were garbage at the foot of Div 1.

And look what happened. They won fuck all and gave me some of my biggest laughs in my 50 years f***ing up the league they couldn’t lose (to quote a fucktard mag I used to work with) in 96.

Yup, we’ll be miles apart for a few years but the wheel will turn again.

FFP was introduced to stop another City. For them to now crack the top 6, they are going to have to find milllions from sponsorship and ticketing. They would be better off aiming for top 10 and investing millions in their academy

Unless ffp grows some teeth it will continue to be ignored. PSG have just blatantly flouted it for years with the minimum of sanctions. Same as city

Bit like saying Bolton will get above Man City
