There isn't even anything to ensure they're going to be big. Let's say they spend 200m in the summer, pretty much every team in the top 8 will spend half of that at least and they've all already got a far better squad. It'll take half a billion pound to break into the top 6.

Nobody is winning fuck all for a very long time with Man City about. The top six in this country will always be the top six. Look at Everton they have spent a f***ing fortune. All they will ever be is 7th at best

Remember this same point was made about Man City and no one would ever break into the top 4 as it then was...

Some of their more plastic element will be wanking themselves silly, but they have a long way to go before they even break the top 6 - never mind City.

At present, they are £100-200m a season behind the elite clubs. For them to be able to spend the sums needed to be a top 6 club, they are going to have to find new ways of making money. Ffs spurs made 850k on food and drink during the Ajax match
