Averaged 11000 at home havent they? This will have been the second game of the season for most.

Wanted to twat some fat fucked for yelling something about our lass shitting in a fountain but apart from that nee need.. canny lads

Totally different feeling to the Portsmouth game, today was how Wembley should be, both sets of fans mingling without an issue and without an 'edge'
This for me, didn’t really encounter any to talk to but the whole atmosphere was different. No edgyness about it compared to Portsmouth.

there was another punch up on Wembley Way prior to the game. Instigated by Sunderland I may add. Group of Charlton were singing amongst themselves as they had been on the tube. Harmless until an older fella intervened and pushed one of them in the side of the head as he walked past. Older fella's mates piled in and started swinging punches. It all calmed down temporarily until the older fella pushed someone else before stopping to clarify that he was battling with Charlton and not Sunderland. Charlton stood their ground like.

All of them sound bar one that put on a baby voice talking to my littlun saying something along the lines of 'the championship smells nice doesn't it'

f***ing peculiar behaviour.

Generally no bother and they seemed decent.
My Lad had a problem with about twenty odd stone island tosses later on at London Bridge Station, one in particular trying to push it but nothing developed and he got away without any big issues

Had my first pint with a Charlton fan while we both waited for our mates to turn up and he set the tone for the day no arrogance whatsoever, also no bother at all in the pub which was majority Charlton , totally different feel to Portsmouth , after game a few piped up on tube but our lot shut them up with ‘I’m Charlton for the day’ and ‘yerv never been to the valley’ all good spirit from both and it never felt like it was going to turn

At Waterloo tube bout 11.30 am walking along the platform someone from a group of Charlton fans threw a beer bottle at a group of what looked like a group of male/female foreign tourists. Hit a lad on the head fair bit of blood on the platform. Dunno what happened after as legged it to the Bakerloo line as that train was going nowhere.

Had bit chew on walking up the tube steps. I was on my own and a few stated singing the crying on Netflix shite. So I sparked them all out (not really), I just said why sing that when you have just won and one lad got a bit edgy so I stood my ground and he backed off. Other than that the Charlton fans were spot on, esp the one I was talking to in the pub in st Pancras station, he bought me a pint.

Got to say that everyone I met before and after the game were top quality and not a hint of any bother. Good luck to them next season. They are my new favourite London club.

I spent a bit of time congratulating their fans after the game outside Wembley and every one of them was fantastic. Wished us well for next season. Many of them were even apologetic

There were a few of them got corralled up Wembley Way by the police to avoid any bother as a couple of them were looking to start something.
Fair play to the cops for spotting it early and nipping it in the bud.

Was he topless and skinny as a stick? If so he was a tw@t singing at my ten year old. Was obviously trying to get a reaction but we just smiled at him. Wouldn't be surprised if he got a clobbering at some point though!
Other than him I thought they were class and a credit to their club.
