In defence of Vince - getting a quick 30/40 is still very useful in a one day game. Would be nice if he went on more often, but it’s a hell of a lot better than his pretty 20s then caught at gully in a test match.

In defence of Vince - getting a quick 30/40 is still very useful in a one day game. Would be nice if he went on more often, but it’s a hell of a lot better than his pretty 20s then caught at gully in a test match.

By modern standards he doesn't get them quickly, run a ball is slower than Roy, Hales and Bairstow get us started.
