love to know why the L2 final is cheaper like

Thanks - just checking my Checkatrade ticket and that was Cat4 and the seat was fantastic (upper deck but right at the front) so I will probably go for that again or upgrade to a Cat3.

Did anyone have any bother using their phone for purchases last time? I used a laptop last time and it was fine but I'll be on mobile only when tickets go up

I have friends who are genuine match going fans but without season tickets but selfishly I don't think I'll risk waiting for phase 2 as no guarantee. 2nd time the club have shown their greed over Wembley, although last time they did back track it was a mess.
Greed? We get feck all.

50% goes to EFL

Point being is someone who doesn't go to matches pays £40 and they're sorted. Don't even have to go to a match so therefore the club is asking those who do spend money to spend more just to be on the same level as someone who doesn't go to any matches.

Even the lumping in of memberships into both phases means that in phase 2 the glory seekers could buy 6 tickets and it sells out and ST holders miss out for their mates and family.

You don't need any points or have attended a single match though. You just need the £40 membership so non SC holders/away attenders are looked at no differently with this setup and they've ignored purchase history completely.

It's simply the club cashing in on the fans for me without actually looking at loyalty in a little more detail. Season ticket holders get into the first phase of anything of course but they shouldn't ignore the purchase history of home attenders and also allow exiles/away fans to build up loyalty and then have the members 3rd in the list of priority at the most.

Fair points mate.

I tried to elaborate on the point further, but I agree, my main point was that the membership should only have been considered next season.

Am I definately on the right website here? Didn't the e-ticket website have a 'countdown' for when tickets would be released vs Portsmouth in the final. There's fuck all there on the website.

No matter how people try to dress it up as no doubt Season Card holders won't give a fuck how the clubs treat non SC holders the club has pulled another Walsall ticket money grabber scheme ;)

The greed @TAD is talking about is the club basically saying "Take a gamble that we don't get automatic promotion but possibly get to the play off final so pay £40 to jump the so called 'loyalty' queue. Fuck those with any prior purchase history who don't stump up another £40 (or may not be able to afford to on a gamble) as they may stupidly think that purchase history will be at least in the 2nd phase in some way when in fact it means sweet fuck all"

It’s absolutely correct that season ticket holders get first priority and I don’t have a problem with members jumping the queue as it was made very clear that this would be the case.
What they didn’t say though was that nobody else would get a chance to buy a ticket!
As an exile I considered buying the membership but thought £120 for me, the wife and son was too expensive. Had I known one membership would let me buy 6 tickets I’d have just got one membership.
Instead the 3 of us did a 400 mile round trip to watch the 1st leg.
Should have watched on the telly, paid £40 and guaranteed Wembley tickets

I’ve just checked all my details were still saved from checkatrade and they weren’t. A couple of my linked accounts were lost so I’d double check them just in case rather than stressing later on

This is the shit I'm talking about as it won't be in the 1,000's but certainly will be a few. Some on here are saying "but the club said this blah blah blah". It's mad how the club have just disregarded you because you didn't stump up £120 on the gamble that we may or may not get into the playoffs is a bit of a piss take of genuine non SC holder match attending fans.

Exactly right....Just so you are aware I am a season ticket holder but it still bothers me the way genuine fans have been treated :( . The one thing the club have done right in the last 20 years is the points scheme and membership number for big games and it seems to be the main thing on the fans side that these guys are doing wrong.

Fancy helping out an exile with one of you further six tickets? ;)

I'm sure someone would give you their number for phase 2.

hang on... uk membership? so that means those that went Saturday without season cards but have a long purchase history miss out?

Looks like it. I've got a customer number and bought tickets on a match by match basis all season, went against Pompey, etc but not guaranteed a ticket. Pack of twats at the club like.

I still question whether you will be able to use your membership number twice but if I can I've defs got 6 mates who .have been to matches this year so wud need to get them for then...sorry mate.

I’ve a purchase history (several games a season) but no season card, due to distance and work commitments. Had thought of the U.K. membership a few weeks ago but didn’t bother. Got to the EFL final through the club Wembley route. Between the cost of that, flights, etc that was a once a season job. Chance it and wait to see if it goes general sale. Failing that it’ll be a few cans in front of telly.

Used my phone last time no problems. Iirc there was problems with Barclays accounts, hopefully that’s not a problem this time for those people.
