Fuck me is he really on £6m quid a year? No chance he will get that anywhere else. No top 6 club would touch him with a barge-pole so unless a similar sized to club to the Mags, like West Ham came in for him then he isn't going anywhere.
 
I have heard a rumour from a fairly reliable source he has sadly agreed to stay and just waiting to iron out the last couple of bits of his new deal. Not sure if he was winding me up as a few things he has told me have been utter rubbish and comical how far off the mark he has been, but he has got a couple of bits spot on which is why I can not rule him out fully
 
Can't see it at all. Wages likely to be lower, and from Celtics point of view even if you could match his wages why would you bother when someone on a fraction of them will likely win the same amount. There's nowt in it for Rafa either, he's never going to win them anything major in Europe and every domestic trophy is expected and hardly impressive. Benitez is onto a good thing where he is, lots of money and seen to do no wrong. If he wanted a club with higher expectations and a chance of winning something worthwhile I imagine he'd be looking at the big European leagues rather than Celtic

I hope that he does stay. He’s untouchable and it’s holding them back.

Despite being a ‘world class manager’, they won’t progress and it will all be the owner’s fault, irrespective of how much money Rafa spunks on poor signings.
