As much as a low attendance would be a massive disappointment I remember being disappointed at the attendance for the 5th round FA Cup tie v Arsenal in 2012. The noise and atmosphere that night was incredible. It could be a similar story on Saturday night!
Totally right on that one...few ( quite a few) beers before game should help, those that are their will make some noise, especially if the lads give us something to cheer

Well, I was expecting more, but I reckon it'll end up somewhere in the region of 30k by kick off. As long as those who are there make some noise and get behind the team, and the team get on the front foot, the atmosphere will be fine. The fact it's a late kick off should mean people's vocal chords are lubricated accordingly.

five of them have won promotion from thei league-thats not the same as being a cut above-but it does mean promotion should have been acived..five of them plus aidan mac and half a season of maja is the envy of every manager in this league..
this this and this again

A Spuds fan here. I come in peace.

Just wanted to say all the best to you guys on Sat. Give Pompey a thumping, will you?
You should have bigger fish to fry. :) Hope you lot thump the scouse!!

Most clubs would drop loads if they went from Prem to third division..nee doubt about that
I would watch them nee matter what division..nee super fan or owt just had some great times over 56 years following the lads.Made some great marras and wouldn't swap the misery .Nee doubt more to come but bring it on...it's now passed down the line for my young uns to suffer..character building following Safc. The vain hope of something better keeps most of us going..maybe I need to get a life I kna!!!bit late now tho..roll on say and that first pint.

Total at the moment is probably around 24K, based on 21.5K showing on , plus 2K away fans and corporates.

Yesterday around 2K were sold, today's total probably about 1K by the end of the day.

If similar tomorrow and Saturday the total home sales will be 23-24K, so my guess for the actual attendance is no more than 27K. However as said by some earlier, those people (with only a small number of exceptions) will actually be there, so the actual number of bodies in the stadium will be similar to our league average, I would guess.

Thats class, how did u get to know about it

Watched the manager make a f***ing arse of things all season, don't fancy watching any more if it. Around 16,000 or so who were at the home league fixture with Pompey aren't bothering. Simple
So you prefer relegation battles that we have had for the previous 10 years?

Just bought some and it looked like limited availability in most sections (at least those I fancied) and I noticed there were sales 'in progress' (orange) in every section I looked in. Surprised if that is where we are at.
21722, excluding away fans.
