It’s high time the powers that be had a word with the players about showing some balls on the pitch if they had we would all be liking forward to the championship now, whatever the attendance on Saturday our supporters have done everything asked of them and more it’s time the players gave something back.
Any signings mooted?

No, the Bradford manager said the referee had apologised. The referee didn't "come out" and publicly say he was wrong. Unless you can prove otherwise and I missed it? I'm sure the referee will have said something along the lines of 'sorry IF I made a mistake'.

I'm not sure what agenda you have mate, perhaps it was the wrong term. I'm not sure why you would want to perpetuate a myth that the team you are meant to support only won a match by a referee clanger when that is not true. Can you explain?

There's nothing wrong with saying a ball went over the line if it did tbf marra. I don't have an agenda. I'd say the same if it was any other team in the world. Luck was in our side that game. In some games luck has been against us. It happens. Don't need to pretend otherwise.

I’m on night shift this week and should be at work Saturday night but I’ve got someone covering my shift as my 6 year old wouldn’t let us miss it, tbh I would happily have worked and missed it the way things are going but we’ve activated our season cards!

After all the moaning about having their allocation cut.

I see they’ve sold out at home, but kept the full Milton End clear. It’s just a waiting game to see whether we get the 1900 minimum or the whole lot.

I reckon we'll get 1900. It's a bit crap them keeping us in limbo 7 days before tbh. If they'd sold out their allocation in a few days they would have played tit for tat but they've lost that argument. If they want to have as many Pompey fans as possible in the ground then just say it.

I'm not surprised they've struggled to sell tbh. Doing the trip there and back in a day is shite tbh. A weekend away is at least 200 notes with accommodation, travel and spending money. And only a fortnight after the last encounter.

Worra load of shite. Players past and PRESENT have made us a continued laughin stock. No a few thousand off a gate for a team of underachievers. Clappers can’t see it.
Clappers as in proper supporters you mean.. "Sunderland till I die" and not "Sunderland when wed play well and win".. PS.. Every owner and manager for decades has spoke of the culture of negativity among our fan base that has driven us down.. We have had experienced managers and owners who have splashed the cash.. The one constant has been the bloody moaners who drive managers out and reduce the confidence of players as soon as they make mistakes..

Behave yourself man. Noone cares about us apart from skunks.
Tou want to try and visit some of the EFL forums.. We are already getting loads of abuse..

I’m sure I read somewhere earlier in the season that if we get 1900 they’re unable to open the rest of the Milton End for home supporters.

There are next to no hotels rooms in Sunderland (or nearby) on Saturday night. They have been booked out for weeks because of the egg chasing going on at Sid James
(and to a lesser extent the 10K jog).

I wonder how many of the season card holders who aren’t going were the part season card holders as opposed to the people who got them at the start of the season?
I would suggest the greater majority of the full season ones will be there and the waiverers will be the part season ones.

People are sick of the sight of Portsmouth tbh and quite a few put off by their scum element.

The team aren’t much better tbh, typical League One cheats.

I think Charlton would've attracted a lot more tbh.

Or a convenient excuse for their own failings.

Nonsense. It's the stadium of light not galatasaray. If you're that arsed moved to one of the other 15k empty seats...

We have more than most I would say. Home games 35th min people are racing down to get a pint it’s quite bad really.
Proves my theory about henpecked blokes using the match as an excuse to get off the leash for a few hours.
I'm a drinker but would I fuck queue up for an overpriced pint of piss in a plastic glass:lol:

The application of goal line technology (done afterwards by Sky) showed that the whole of the ball hadn't crossed the line. That angle is skewed by perspective which makes the ball look more the line than it was. Because the ball is spherical and the ground is flat, parts of the ball will be off the ground, but not over the line. In any event, if the referee isn't sure, no goal is the correct decision.

I'm saying it's double standards by people it's a choice if you go to a game, almost a whole stadium worth couldn't be arsed to support the team against them twats
I was there, and there for Man city kids ( when the Turk wasoutstanding!) anyway the mags game was against there kids...they had hardly anyone at their game before .
Saturdays game and the return leg are two most important games of the season so far ....the hardcore support realise this and will be in attendance...

Well we pay for a season ticket to watch all home league games, where the prize is hopefully promotion, so if we finish in the play offs we are still playing a home game in the same competition
The league is finished. the play offs is a seperate competition, thats why it has a seperate trophy, you havent paid to go to this competon. the league must be finished.,..they gave a team a trophy for winning it, thats what happens at the end of a competon like.
The english football league hve decided that, and decided thats why all teams in the competition share the revnue. Its nowt to do with safc.

if someone showed me that photo, regardless of who the teams are, and asked is the whole of that ball over the whole of the line, i'd confidently say 'no way'.

And you'd be wrong, because of the optical illusion caused by the angle of the view. That's why goal line technology is so important; the annoying thing is that we have it at the ground, but can't use it because most L1 teams don't.
