 So they aren't cannon fodder now? A half decent manager might actually do something with them so I hope fatty stays.
The results they’ve picked up prove they aren’t, they’ve had bad results, had good results, had mediocre results, they’re not getting walloped every week, and that’s down to the manager, he’s got them well organised and performing okay. I think a lesser manager would’ve seen them relegated.

Hopefully he walks away because of Ashley after this season, I recon they’d be fucked.

Plenty of videos from the lounges of Reds in full voice. Spoke to me mate who was in hospitality and he said the natives wasn't too happy when our goals were celebrated.

News to me.

Loads went up for the weekend with/without tickets. There and back on the day for me. Didn't see any trouble. Worst it got was when some old fella turned up in Chester-le-street telling us he was a spotter and had been told there was 750 Liverpool there

'When Liverpool scored their winner, many Liverpool fans started physically shaking'.

:):):)
When the winner went in, the whole ground started shaking!

Steve Wraith who has been going to games since 1984 and had a season ticket from 91 onwards unable to get an away game ticket in 1996?

I think not somehow.

Thought he said he would never return till Ashley went and until then was supporting Dunston Fed.

I assume if this had been the other way around the locals would be happy to have Newcastle fans celebrating in the home end?

Depends on the scale and nature of it. We have it regular in Europe, so it's not something that particularly bothers me. I actually think there maybe should have been more respect shown but a late winner, in a must win game, after a day on the ale (and lemo no doubt) then people were always gonna jump up.
