You're not getting it, it's got fuck all to do with who is and who isn't guilty. It's the baggage and negativity that comes with it and the effect that can have on the club as a whole, that isn't worth it. don't call me an idiot you prick.
I agree with this. I’d rather we were more thoughtful about character going forward. I thought at the start of the window we should have got two premier loans with pace and energy and something to prove rather than dealing with the complexity of getting value in a pressured window. I firmly think Sterling needs to be ahead of Grigg now until Griggs sorted.

he is preusmed innoccent..he doesnt have to prove it..the starting point is innocent..so he is innocent..

Sorry, fence can wait five mins.

No, no, no, no, no. No times a million and again no. It doesn't work like that. This isn't a Hollywood movie.

He was unable to prove his innocence. Fact. The jury were unable to prove that he was guilty beyond reasonable doubt. That is not the same as innocent. Not my words. The words of the law.

Look, I f**king hate The Sun but, unbelievably, they have a very good wrapping up of the whole shoddy affair from a barrister.

Also gives a lot more background to the sordid affair which, if you were right-minded enough to consider it, shows why we mustn't go anywhere near this person.

in law it is the same as innocent. he starts as innocent and the jusry-to find him guiltyh must decide that he has been proven guilty. the burden of proof is on the other side..not on him. thats why he isnt in chains..the law takes the view that there are dgrees of innocence..but not that one has to prove innocence..

It's ok being more thoughtful about character and I get that but I'd rather we sign people who actually give a fuck abput what they are doing on the pitch, will grigg, doesn't look like he gives a fuck, will grigg can be a choir boy if he wants, but I'd rather we had players that gave a fuck on the pitch, we sign too many weak characters that may be nice guys, that when one or two of their heads drop the others follow

You would think people would have grasped this by now having had several players turn us down for Bristol City, Charlton etc and having to shop for players elsewhere or ones who don't quite look up to the Championship. Maybe a full pre-season and being less desperate may bring greater rewards, but good Championshipo players on the whole aren't going to drop a level unless we pay way over the odds and even then some still won't come.
Still say it's the lack of a quality ball playing, attacking midfielder to supply our strikers (whoever they may be) is the bigger problem. Having just bought both, it will probably be them again next season. Need some MF quality desperately.

Edit....didn't mean to reply to your post........

Grigg seems injured or unfit or something. I don’t get the impression that he isn’t interested just that he can’t seem to make the right runs into the right places and have any impact and he’s suffering as a result. Maybe it’s just confidence but something isn’t right and with knock out games ahead we can’t carry passengers. Sterling at least as some pace and energy to turn people and be a threat. We signed two strikers in January and it’s the other one who I would trust more right now.
If we got another striker in summer it would be a Sterling type not an Evans type for me. Investment signings not journeymen signings.

I wouldn't say Evans is a journeyman as such but I get your point. Des walkers son has done well at Mansfield, on loan from forest. The one I'd like to see us go for us the forest green lad who was at bolt on, doidge has been in good form for forest green

He's not though:
• In general, the best way to distinguish the two is to think of Not Guilty as a verdict or finding given by a court of law in a criminal case, and Innocent, as a fact or state of being indicating a person’s innocence based on his/her moral beliefs, behaviour, character and conduct in life.

• Likewise, a person found Not Guilty of a particular offence may not necessarily be Innocent of the crime. It is a verdict that typically suggests that the prosecution failed to prove the case against the defendant beyond reasonable doubt.

The new evidence cast some doubt on the two main things on which they'd first got the conviction and that's her giving consent/being in a state to give consent in the main and him thinking he'd done enough to get it. The new evidence basically amounted to her liking it doggy style and shouting 'fuck me harder' which had been backed up by two other guys who had been riding her.

Griggs seems to have struggled with the expectation as much as anything, why do you think Evans wouldn't have suffered given the spotlight on him and many not accepting him from the start? Grigg's record is also better at League One level and their Championship records are similar. In fact in 2016/17 at Chesterfield Evans only scored 5 goals in 25 League games in his comeback season, 7 in 29 overall which isn't as good as Griggs here when he's struggled with form and fitness.
The pressure Evans has been under he could work in the bomb squad and not show a bead of sweat. I also hold an opinion of Evans being a championship standard player were as Grigg is league one quality.

He's 30. He was 22 at the time of the incident. I wouldn't use the drunken behaviour as a 22 year old to judge the character of a 30 year old.

Ched Evans record in the Championship over the last 10 years: 76 games, 13 goals = a goal every 5.84 games

Will Grigg’s record in the Championship: 50 games, 9 goals = a goal every 5.555 games

To me that doesn’t really suggest that either player is a Championship Standard player really. But Grigg’s L1 record is much better than Evans.

Yeah we've lacked a pacey outlook at times this season like Sterling gave the other night and Watmore gave on occasions. Morgan has offered it occasionally too but again he's another who is unlikely to stay.
Pace height and physicality. We havent had it for as long as I can remember and we desperatly need whatever division we are in next season.
