how can you let a son/daughter not follow the lads...unbelievable
When they’re monumental glory hunting bellends there’s not much you can do with them I suppose. I always heckle the fucker for being born on the wear and supporting those twats, I have no respect for people like that.

My mate’s a fanatical donny rovers fan like his fatha, his younger brothers and their mates all support Man U? What is wrong with these people? Is this what happens when everyone gets a medal for competing in sports days. They can’t handle failure so they just pick whoever’s class at the time and latch onto those. It never used to happen.

Is that a cartoon magpie on it? Quite appropriate for the Cartoon Army.
Anyway, I thought magpies had black beaks?

A lot of Tyneside heartlands are in Co Durham.
So it's a Mynah Bird? How very apt, something that talks a lot but doesn't understand what it saying
Why didn't they just use their own cathedral btw, it's a fine and individual piece of architecture and actually in Newcastle? Strange bunch....

Bro in law is a keegan era Durham mag, his fatha is a massive lads fan anarl.

Shameful
Poor parenting. A few years ago my son asked for a Chelsea top. I told him he could and I could have more children and he would be put up for adoption. He now has a season card

To be fair it was the width of the river from County Durham till 1974.

Having the cathedral on the flag is absurd. But Durham City isn't Wearside like.
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Get wa telescurps oot tha neet an wotch tha International Geordie Space Stayshun
They've got one at the Kielder Dark Sky Observatory set up by a MLF

Aren’t mags in the majority in Durham city (as opposed to the surrounding villages)?

Durham City obviously has a massive student population.... the local population is still dominated by Sunderland. Every where I go in workplaces etc Sunderland dominates.

FFS man I lived in Durham for 44 years. No one in Durham calls it Wearside.
Nor does anyone associate NUFC with the cathedral.
i've lived in Durham for 56 years and I'd quite happily be called a wearsider. I also think the residents of Witton-le-wear would proudly bear the name.

All rivalries set aside I can honestly and unequivocally say that I think it looks pathetic, but I have no doubt that it will have some appeal to our younger flag adoring fans.
It’s absolutely f***ing shit! I’m 34 if you want to start an age consensus on the matter the Mrs 31 also thinks it looks f***ing shite, she’s numb so I’m assuming it’s an appearance thing

The bigger let downs for me are no Sting,Tim healey or jimmy nail. These are the real Geordie heroes. You know the ones who can’t wait to get away and change their accents

Yet not so small that we need to claim 'iconic' landmarks from the likes of Gateshead as our own........absolute legends in your own mind you lot :lol::lol:

Nah, just Bamburgh Castle and The Tees Barrage which both formed part of your 2018 WC bid literature..

Radged how much fewm this has set up, there isn't much difference in the distance between the SOL/Durham Cathedral and St James'/Durham Cathedral.

Maybe we should have a playoff for the Durham Cup or whatever you want to call it

It’s laughable you would have it on a flag.

Gan on then, only seem to do well in them when we play you lot

The images have been stuck on a flag which clearly identifies landmarks which are part of the heritage of Newcastle United man which some fof them clearly aren't.......think the flag was very impressive by the way

We probably should have had other stuff on, aye.

Surprised it's generated this much fewm though, considering the previously mentioned similar proximities. I expect you would be the same if it appeared on a similar SAFC flag?

I would question why it’s relevant yes.
