Defeated by that huge club Fleetwood. Crowds and spending, our status too, we were out of it! Stood no chance. Bluffing heck! Our team /team work must have been dire.

Sat here absolutely raging. Can't bring myself to speak to anyone. Been a looooong time since I let football affect me like that. This f***ing team have let themselves down. This is unacceptable

I was like that!

Had a hot shower and a good sing while I was in there and feel a bit calmer now.

Would love (hate) to see the stats of our passing accuracy. Must have been 50% of our passes that went either straight out of play, or straight to the opposition, or at best practically impossible for the recipient to get. The CBs just lumping, not only blindly , but actually just kicking it straight out of play when under no pressure. Then all the little attempts at flicks and through balls that go absolutely no where near where they were intended. Crosses that just float into the keepers arms practically every time. Its incredibly difficult to watch. And then other times when they do play it into feet its either slightly behind or to the side of the recipient, or blasted at them 100 mph. Or played in at chest height instead of on the deck. Not sure how the coaches can stop this. I'd start fining players if they hit it long aimlessly when they have a simple option available
Tinsoldier doesn't agree but I Dee!

Hardly ever criticise a player on any media but Honeyman was absolutely terrible. There goal started from him with a stray pass and they ended up in our half. At one stage he was standing on the by line by himself then received a free kick from Power and put it out.
Lets put this in context as well, he is our f***ing CAPTAIN!! just let that sink in.

Sick to death of watching Ross’ shit football. There’s absolutely nothing to suggest that we’d improve next season if he’s given more time.

When you say we must learn, you really mean Ross must learn, but he's learned nothing from one game to the next. Bringing on Sterling as a lone striker, give me a break, then as we're being overrun in midfield bringing on Honeyman, what a bloody joke. His first and biggest mistake was making that waste of space his captain, forced himself to have to select him for 90% of the games, played most of last season as well, no wonder we are shite. FTM
Putting the fuck up's by the manager to one side, all I wish for, is that our players, come the play offs, play with confidence, give it all and come good for the games.

If he is he is a f***ing goon. We did have a slim chance of automatic promotion as the Pompey result proved.

We also had a good chance of 3rd and an easier game on paper against Doncaster or Peterborough.

Looks like we'll have to try to do it the hard way now.

Even with the Pompey result, I never believed automatic was possible (although we will now never know ). The biggest disappointment was not putting ourselves in pole position for 3rd.

That said, what looks easier on paper doesn’t always work out. The important thing is; we now beat Southend and finish 4th. The play offs are going to be tough, but we need to stop the inquests until after we know our league for next season.

this is worse than last season. At least then we knew the club was being left to the dogs and relegation was inevitable quite early on - I never thought for a minute we would end up losing our bottle like we have done. The utter capitulation since winning those two games after the cup final has been dreadful. It's hard to see how we can drag our arses over the line - the players clearly don't believe in themselves.

Feel sorry for you lot that went and had to endure that and go have to drive home !!

I now have to explain to my 11 year old boy that this is the norm following Safc and it is likely to ever change.

We must be cursed.

We could have scored 4 goals first half tonight. Power and Grigg missed gilt edged chances and Grigg hit the bar.

The Pompey result was just what we needed but we completely blew it 2nd half with a pitiful display, partly down to the manager and partly the players.
