Areet mate! Exactly, hotels attract outsiders, God forbid. Anyway what’s the matter with Felix, and Reids for good food, spoilt for choice on Asian restaurants and the chequers, railway, crown are decent pubs and a weatherspoons for the homeless....

Felix and Reids? You running with the TOWIE crew these days then?

No mention of the Pink Pussycat?

I miss the Sun.

Well I'm going. I was thinking of heading to the spoons next to the train station and making my way to the ground from there?

Looks the spoons (the last post) isn't as close to the train station as I thought?

I'll give you a shout mate. I'm open to suggestions of where to go beforehand.

Last time there got a cab from town to ground but there’s trains from Sarrrfend Victoria station to Prittlewell eg 4.20 & takes 5 mins + 5 mins walk??

Plenty of pubs around Vic station inc spoons & townhouse looks ok?

Is there an away pub at Southend?
Wheres best to booze, get off at Southend Central and booze round there or goto pubs nearer the ground?

Been mentioned a few times about the trains. Get the c2c from fenchurch street or west ham, gets into southend central. Plenty of pubs on walk up to the ground.

Its right over the road from Southend central mate (fenchurch street line)

@squashjoe & others, what’s the Saxon King like?

Just noticed no trains to/from Prittlewell - bus replacement into town - Saaaarfend Victoria. Wot a bassa :(

Saxon King is ok mate, bit out the way, and its next to a sewage plant so stinks!!!

The away pub near the ground in the Blue Boar, it tiny and will only fit about 100 people in it, the others near the ground will be home fans only....

Better off drinking in town tbh mate....

Lastpost (spoons), Sacks, Railway Hotel all close to southend central, then walking down the town towards the ground there is a load of boozers, slug and lettuce, vodka revs, town house, east coast social, The Dickens, the Cow and Telescope....

As mentioned earlier, no trains on the Liverpool Street to Prittlewell line so your best bet is the c2c - better anyway as there's much more places to drink in the town.

After the weekend's results, we need to beat you or we will be relegated. Look lads, you don't need the points. Take it easy eh, rest up for the playoffs, maybe encourage the players to join you for a few beers pre-match.
