My thoughts exactly. The smoke bomb came directly over my heed, landed about 5 or 6 rows in front. The copper filming was directly above, surely he only needs to film the smoke for a few seconds for evidence purposes. He then should have turned round and filmed their lot incase owt else happened. Fans around me were going fuckin nuts at him, he literally kept the camera on us for a good 4 or 5 mins. Most of his footage will be our lot giving him the 2 finger salute and wanker signs.

They’ll all be done for public order offences I bet.

If we get them again in the playoffs, refuse entry to away fans. Knackers

Then surely they would just go tit for tat and give us no tickets for the game at their place. Or could they not do that without a valid reason? I doubt we could even do it to be honest, rules say we have to give them a certain % of tickets. Probably just be told to employ more stewards, police etc.

That is always subject to any overriding conditions placed by the police or ground licensing authorities. If they feel the attendance of any, or more than a limited number of, supporters of a given club is necessary to ensure public safety, then they can insist on that as a condition for the match to take place. On those grounds, it's more than possible that Coventry could be banned entirely, given the extent of disorder they created.

Aye, I understand that but as Pompey only had one fan who threw the flare (which is still a disgrace obviously) I can't see them saying they can't have any tickets should we play them. If it was Coventry we were playing we probably could get the away fans banned for all the trouble they caused.

Its very sad that people have a had experiences at the match and don't feel like going anymore.

Phone call from Steve Neil last week ,if we had to play Coventry again on his watch ,he would be going for a complete ban or a very reduced allocation ,,

Hopefully Northumbria's finest insist on a reduced allocation due to the incident.

Or the FA get involved and reduce it for them.

My mate disabled daughter was right next to where it hit. She was an absolute wreck. Still is. She got invited to watch game from director's box with her mam. Tremendous from the club, but horrible experience for her.
