Keane and Neville

Imagine Keane in a dressing room with the likes of Luke Shaw and Fred.
The state of Shaw just looking at him then there were his efforts in the game.
England full back.

I actually think Neville was right. This is United. They haven't got a Roy Keane in midfield. Fred can't get near Silva and it's probably not worth Darmian charging at Sterling as he'll be chasing back towards his own goal looking rather silly.

Neville was making excuses for Man Utd's players not grafting whilst Keane was rolling his eyes and saying "what would we have said to you if you'd done that Gary"?
Souness then waded-in, agreeing that they made no effort to close City down for either goal.

which is right of course. If Neville or players from that United team stood off City then Keane would destroy them. That's because they were good players and had no excuse. Darmian, Young, Lindelof et al are shite.

Keane was raging because Darmian couldn't get near Sterling. Keane has to understand that United are shit. Shit players struggling against World Class players isn't something new.

Neville said the "legs were gone" - after 53 minutes just after half time? It was ludicrous and he was rightly destroyed for it.

maybe Neville exaggerated slightly but I don't think you can expect that back 5 to be pressing Sterling or the Silvas and after 53 minutes it's entirely plausible that they haven't got it in them to get at City's attack.

as Keano said he was two yards away, was scandalous IMO
