Anyone see the bloke with a rake creating this huge pattern in the sand with a rake?

Couldnt be arsed to wait and see what it was in the end but im assuming something to do with Easter

He does it all the time ‘eyes’ is his tag

Interesting. I'm sure I've seen his graffiti but I can't think where, maybe that stretch of wall following the old rail lines by Richard Avenue.

I've been in that little "Hideout" coffee shop the last couple of times I've been down there. Really nice food and it seems to be well patronised.

He nearly got involved in a fight today. I didn’t see how it started but I think he might have had a word with someone about walking across his pattern. Next thing some jumped up old bloke started a right row with him about it being a public beach. The old fella may have had a point until he started swearing his head off and calling the artist a f***ing wanker with all the accompanying signs. Thought I was going to have to split them up but the old fella walked off still shouting abuse .

I was still there when the artist left and have no clue what the pattern was about.

I used to vaguely know a lad called Tommy Conlon from Thornhill back around 1980 and I was recently told that he’s done a lot of the artistry like under Wearmouth Bridge on the right hand side as you’re walking north.

Suprised wasn’t full of 60 yr old professional sunbathers down there , whenever I walk past if the suns out you see same leathered faces out sunbathing , bikinis on the lot
