Throwing missiles onto fans below is as low as it gets. it's incredibly dangerous. One or two incidents, i get that you will always get one idiot. But it was non stop for long periods. Vile.

Regards to the policing, I've still never forgotten how NP treated our fans at Central all those years back after the Hearts friendly in Edinburgh.

The reason the club is at fault is that they would know the risk of this type of thing happening and they have a duty to mitigate that risk. There clearly was no plan in place and nobody had the foggiest idea what to do. That’s the clubs fault.

The risk is that missiles will be thrown.., the plan to mitigate this is to put stewards and police in place to act as a deterrent. I assume the searching of fans for things which could be used as weapons was not part of a plan. Clearly there was no plan for when missiles were actually thrown.
