Defended another Rugby players views that people who are gay will burn in hell or some shite like that. Also has a pop at drunks, fornicators, liars and adulterers.

...what he’s saying isn’t that he doesn’t like or love those people. He’s saying how we live our lives needs to be closer to how God intended them to be.
“Man was made for woman to procreate, that was the goal no? I’m not perfect, I’m at least everything on that list at least at one point in my life. It hurts to know that.
“But that’s why I believe there’s a God. To guide and protect us and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.”

Warratahs have suspended him as well. Bit of an odd one to be fair. If they`d refused to employ him because of his religious beliefs they`d be in the wrong yet can effective suspend him for his religious beliefs

That is kind of the point. If we support the rights of radical Christian celebrities sports or otherwise to endorse this kind of stuff could we ever be outraged if a radical Muslim celeb did exactly the same?

He's not contracted to England but instead to his club side (Saracens). England could choose not to pick him.

No. Players are only contracted to clubs. Ireland and New Zealand are different.

This is an interesting debate. He (folau) posted something similar previously and received a warning. His defence was he was citing corinthians as he is highly religious. Culturally these bloke's come from very religious and masculine backgrounds so it's deep rooted in their beliefs.
As an aside rugby is far more accepting to homosexuals than other sports.
