Everton have confirmed they are investigating a video which claims to show Jordan Pickford caught up in a melee.

The incident, which was filmed on a camera phone outside a bar, shows images of a man involved in a dispute with several other people.

Punches are thrown, though it is unclear by who, and then a person is ushered away by friends as the name “Jordan” is shouted.

released a statement this evening which read: “The Club has been made aware of an alleged incident involving one of our players and we are looking into the matter.”

A spokesman has said they will offer no further comment on the matter until they have established the content of the video.
He’s done nothing wrong, full stop

He’s been antagonised by black and white scum wishing bad things on his newly born daughter having a few drinks with his old school mates (to be fair they didn’t know what to do for the best), no blame on Jordan for me at all there like, jealous bums that’s all

It’s absolutely embarrassing on the part of Newcastle fans
It’s clear that Pickford would of had a few drinks but he’s not the instigator -
Why can’t they just let him enjoy his day and leave him alone to have a good time - pathetic
The lad that filmed it and calling him “Butterfingers” it’s a joke
He’s in his own town as well.

Was it a mag he punched though ?

Not like you to be a twisty tit!

It was the team he supports in a cup final, surely that allows him a day off? I’d assume he told Everton what he was doing anarl (probably not the fighting bit like!).
No he isn’t allowed a day off to get pissed and fight in the street.

That’s disgraceful tbh, no way should a professional footballer be getting pissed up and involved in fights.
I’m sure he is sensible enough to not be getting involved in fights that were not provoked and instigated by antagonising pathetic mags
Silly comment without knowing the facts
